By Meaghen N., age 12, while enrolled in “Do YOU Want to Be a Writer?”
Their future is gone,
Their past is past,
They served their country till the last
They strived,
They conquered,
They fought without fright
Their post never left empty
Their cries always heard.
Forever we shall remember all that gave
Our freedom, our courage, and all the lives they saved
For without them,
We would stand afraid.
